Peak Fire — Beacon Privacy Signal

Last updated: June 2025

Peak Fire sends one signal clearly across every mountain range: we collect no personal data from you, ever. This beacon privacy document is that signal, written out in full so there is no ambiguity at any altitude.

What the beacon reveals

The beacon reveals nothing personal. No climber's identity, no route history, no device signal is transmitted from your session into our records. You light the flame and you descend, unseen.

Summit readings (server logs)

Like a mountain relay station's operational ping, our servers may automatically log: browser type, device category, and an anonymised IP fragment. These pings confirm the beacon is reachable. They carry no individual signal.

No spy fires

Peak Fire lights no advertising spy fires, no behavioural analytics flares, and no third-party surveillance beacons on the surrounding peaks. The sky is clear of unwanted light.

The cartographer (Google Fonts)

Our typefaces are charted by Google Fonts. Your browser's connection to Google may include your IP. Their privacy signal covers what they do at that waypoint.

Young mountaineers

Peak Fire is a dramatic but family-safe game for all ages. No violent content, no gambling, no age restrictions. Every young mountaineer is welcome at the summit. We collect nothing from any player.

Signal updates

Should our practices change, this document will be updated and redated. Continued climbing after any change signals acceptance of the new terms.
